Black Star Investments was founded by licensed California attorney and venture capitalist Darin Feinstein with the purpose of actively acquiring and investing in a multitude of businesses ranging from industry-leading technologies, live entertainment, restaurants, real estate holdings and financial services. Black Star Investments’ core investment approach is to recognize, analyze and then invest in added value or distressed business opportunities. Mr. Feinstein is a serial entrepreneur and attorney who worked at Kenneth Leventhal prior to the merger with Ernst and Young and then as in house counsel to The Richland Group, a real estate investment banking company in Los Angeles. Shortly thereafter Mr Feinstein started a boutique investment banking company focused on distressed or value add business opportunities.
